About Miki
Miki’s owner passed away and the family was not able to care for her and her herd mates so they surrendered them to Bluebonnet. After waiting for over a year for a home of her own, Miki was adopted as a pet.
Evaluation and Training
Miki is a sweet, friendly and gentle mare with people. She was halter trained and taught to load in a trailer by her former owner. She is easy to catch, leads and loads in a trailer.
Miki is defensive at feeding time. She has kicked out at both other horses and people while she is eating so she needs to be separated at meal times. She also needs work on allowing her feet to be handled also. She will make someone a great companion or pet.
