DESCRIPTION:Since we’re not having an in-person spring fundraiser this year\, we’re having a Virtual/Online Horse Show (organized by Sabine Lazo – huge thank yous to Sabine!). \nIf you haven’t participated in an online/virtual horse show before\, it is easy – no experience required! You’ll clean up your horse and tack (no fancy show tack required and no clipping of ears\, guard hairs\, muzzles\, fetlocks\, etc. for your horse) and video. You can have someone video for you or you can use something like a PIVO. Follow the pattern or order of gaits for the classes you are showing in\, pay your fees\, and you just might win a ribbon! \nWe’ve added some fun classes\, too – like the muddiest horse and the prettiest mane/tail – so you can have fun even if you don’t want to show off your riding or handling skills. \nIf you want to support the show but don’t have a horse or don’t want to participate\, you can also sponsor a class\, sponsor a class\, or make a donation. \nCome join the fun and help us help horses! DESCRIPTION:AmplifyAustin is a 24 hour period of fundraising for organizations that work in Austin/central Texas.  We always participate\, and this year’s drive is more important than ever since we’re not having a spring Challenge/event.  AmplifyAustin spends all year finding sponsors and matching donations. So your donation goes further during AmplifyAustin! \n \nThis year AmplifyAustin is March 2-3\, and our goal is to raise $20\,000 (although I would like to raise more since we’re not having the spring fundraiser this year).  There are a few ways you can help us meet our goal: \n–Make a donation \n-If you are a foster home or adopter\, make a video about your horse and why you (and he/she) love Bluebonnet. DESCRIPTION:We are holding the fifteenth annual Bluebonnet Horse Expo and Rescue Horse Training Challenge on October 16 from 9am-6pm at the Williamson County Expo Center in Taylor\, Texas. \nDuring this amazing event\, horse enthusiasts can attend health care and training clinics to learn to better care for their horses.  They can also meet Bluebonnet horses\, donkeys and mules appearing at the event and watch professional and amateur horsepeople compete in the Bluebonnet Rescue Horse Training Challenge.  The rescue will also have new and used tack as well as horse and ranch-themed artwork\, jewelry and home décor for sale in a silent auction and live auction to be held during the event. \nWe are currently seeking vendors for the event. SUMMARY:Bluebonnet Spring 2021 Training Challenge
DESCRIPTION:The Spring Training Challenge is a competition in which professional trainers and non-pro horse-lovers work with a Bluebonnet horse for four months and then compete over an obstacle course and in a freestyle competition. Horses will be assigned the end of December and picked up by January 15\, and the competition is May 15 in Hamilton\, Texas.\n\n\n\nWe will be offering up to $10\,000 in prize money spread over four divisions: Professional trainer\, non-pro under saddle\, non-pro in hand (handlers 13 years of age and older) and non-pro in hand (handlers 12 years or younger).\n\nVisit www.bluebonnethorseexpo.com for more information.

DESCRIPTION:Bluebonnet Equine Humane Society is participating in Amplify Austin 2021 – a 24 hour period of fundraising for nonprofits in the Austin area.  Our goal this year is to raise at least $15\,000\,  and we already have $4\,000 pledged in matching funds. \nDonate Now\n \nYour donations help rescue\, rehabilitate\, retrain\, and rehome formerly abused\, neglected\, abandoned\, and unwanted horses throughout Texas. Rocky (pictured) is a perfect example of the horses your donation helps: he came to Bluebonnet badly injured and neglected.
