About Olive Oyl
Olive Oyl's owner surrendered her to BEHS when law enforcement officials began a neglect investigation. At that time, she was severely emaciated. Olive Oyl was a sweet horse who loved attention, and everyone who knew her loved her. She lived in a foster home for several years. She crossed the Rainbow Bridge due to complications from old age.
Evaluation and Training
Thanks to Olive Oyl's intermittent lameness, she is not suitable for riding. She would make a great pet.
Olive Oyl will need an adopter with horse health experience, or someone willing to work closely with a vet to make sure her health is maintained.
