BEHS 043 – Junior

Junior was a one year old donkey who was severely malnourished due to neglect. He, along with 18 other horses, donkeys and mules, were seized by law enforcement. Unfortunately the starvation and lack of care had taken its toll on Junior. Shortly after he arrived to safety, he went down and could not get up again. Intravenous fluids were administered but to no avail. The day after he was seized, Junior's suffering was ended and he was helped across the Rainbow Bridge. All those who met Junior will remember him, a tiny victim of terrible neglect.
