About Ms Ginger

Miss Ginger's owner died. Her owner's family did not want her and were not feeding her, so she was reported as neglected. The family decided to sign her over to Bluebonnet when law enforcement investigated. She tied for 3rd place in the Professional Under Saddle division of the Rescue Horse Training Challenge at the 2019 Bluebonnet Horse Expo and met her adopter. Congratulations Ms. Ginger.

Evaluation and Training

Miss Ginger is a sweet and kind horse. She stands well while tied, stands for fly spraying, and picks up her hooves. She's good for saddling and bridling, but she does not lounge well. She stands for mounting. She does not understand leg pressure but moves forward when tapped with the ends of the reins. She backs up fairly well, but overall is very green. She is willing, though, and tries hard to do as requested. She should be a nice riding horse with some additional riding time.
