BEHS 1041 – Vegas

Vegas is a gorgeous, sweet boy. He is very affectionate and loves his people. He really enjoys grooming and baths. He is good for fly spray, stands tied, leads, and loads. He is easy to catch and good for all ground handling. He didn’t even mind getting a bridle path trimmed with clippers. His foster home worked with him for four months to get him going well under saddle. He was either very green under saddle or had not been ridden before she started working with him. He is learned to be ridden around her property and over man made obstacles. Vegas worked with a trainer to prepare for the 2019 Fall Training Challenge, where they placed 4th in the Non-Pro Under Saddle division. Vegas is a gaited horse and walks, performs a four-beat gait, and canters. His canter is still rough, and he will need to learn to balance better under saddle before his canter can improve. Vegas is still a green horse who needs a confident rider to bring him along. He’s a hotter horse, who is always going to be a hotter horse, so he is not suitable for a timid or novice rider. He is a stunning and fun horse who an experienced horse person could really enjoy!
