About Texas Satin
Texas Satin was surrendered when his owner was investigated for neglect. He had not been handled much prior to coming to BEHS. He attended the 2019 Bluebonnet Horse Expo and met his adopter at the event. He was returned to the rescue in 2021 because the adopter did not feel they could provide the training he needs.
Evaluation and Training
Texas Satin is a cute, young colt who is beautiful and sweet. He was halter broke and his foster home worked with him on general ground manners, grooming, and having his feet handled prior to his adoption.
Currently his ground manners are a rusty and he needs a refresher. He is ready for someone to someone to continue his basic training and start him under saddle. He's a great age to adopt and train for anything you want to do.
