BEHS 111 – Henry

Henry came into BEHS in 2006 as part of a neglect case. He stands nearly 16 hh – and he’s the tallest donkey many people in the rescue have ever seen! He gained weight and then his foster home began working with him under saddle. She got on him a few times and although he didn’t know much he was quiet and willing. He was adopted in 2009 but returned because his size intimidated his adopters. He moved into a new foster home who fell in love with him. She decided to make him a permanent part of her life.
