About Nacho

Nacho was born in a foster home to BEHS Reina, who was pregnant when she entered the rescue. Although initially shy due to an overly protective dam, in time Nacho grew more confident and friendly. Once he learned that humans were good at belly-scratching and dispensing occasional treats, Nacho would take the initiative to approach his handler. He quickly learned to wear a halter. In fact, he would steal a halter out of an ATV in order to get more attention. Nacho LOVES being groomed, and he can be touched all over. He is learning to give all four feet. In addition to his herd mates, the colt is used to a variety of animals, including cattle, deer, dogs, and emus. Nacho’s dam is a big, beautiful mare, and we anticipate he will stand at least 15 hands when grown. He is already muscular and athletic, with a correct conformation. Nacho is as sweet and calm as he is handsome. With all his attributes, Nacho should be an extraordinary partner for some lucky adopter!
