About Wave the Flag
"Wave" was born into the rescue on Memorial Day!
Her dam, Layla, came into the rescue from a neglect case only 7 weeks before this little filly was born. She is sweet, spunky and in perfect health.
Evaluation and Training
Her foster reports that she is very quick, confident and fit in quickly with the herd of geldings. She is learning to lead softly, without being pushy. Once that is better, we will start being tied. She is good with brushing, spraying, handling her feet and has carried a saddle pad. She had her first trim and was good for the farrier.
