About Diamante
Diamante was transferred to Bluebonnet by the Houston Humane Society after he was surrendered by his owner.
Diamante is the type to walk right into your house and kick back in your favorite chair. If you are looking for a friendly pony with not a mean bone anywhere and catch him where he finds you, get your applications in.
Diamante was a competitor in the Non-Pro In Hand Division of the 2021 Rescue Horse Training Challenge. He met his adopter at the Challenge! Congratulations to Diamante and his new family!
Evaluation and Training
Diamante hadn't been handled much when he came to Bluebonnet but he is a nice young horse just getting started in life. His challenge trainer says has been fearless with anything he has been asked to do. Diamante is learning all the things to be a good equine citizen including trailer loading, leading, and longe line work. He has a bright future and will make someone a very nice pony with continued proper handling and training when he is old enough to start under saddle or he would make a great companion too!
