About Mr Bentley
Mr. Bentley was donated to Bluebonnet during the summer of 2021 by his owner. He is very sweet but a little aloof. He has a calm, easy going personality.
Mr. Bentley will be competing in the Non Pro Under Saddle Division of the Bluebonnet Horse Expo and Rescue Horse Training Challenge with trainer Claire Vermillion (Samantha). You can follow their progress on their Facebook page by CLICKING HERE.

Evaluation and Training
Mr. Bentley has a very smooth, easy walk, trot, and canter, although he needs an experienced confident rider as he is still very green and learning. He takes in new information quickly and tries his hardest to get it right. He hardly spooks at anything (cars, barking dogs, machinery, wind, metal cans, people, etc).
Mr. Bentley knows how to side pass, back up, pivot on his HQ and shoulders, collect up, and pick up both leads. He has the beginnings of a good Spanish walk if he gets more practice. He is going to make a great trail horse!
