About Lil Reina
Lil Reina was removed from negligent owners by the Houston SPCA and transferred to Bluebonnet. She hadn’t had much handling before arriving at the Houston SPCA.

Evaluation and Training
The SPCA halter trained her and taught her to lead. Her Training Challenge partner has worked with Lil Reina on ground work. She is good to catch, she stands tied, and she stands for the farrier. She is also learning to stand for baths and fly spray, and she’s learning to lung. She’s also learning to navigate in hand trail obstacles.
Lil Reina is a sweet young filly who is going to make someone a wonderful riding horse in a few years. If you adopt her now, you can continue her ground work and make sure she has a solid foundation when it is time to start riding.
Lil Reina is competing in the In-Hand Division of the Bluebonnet Rescue Horse Training Challenge with Susan Hemmi. Lil Reina will be available for adoption at the Training Challenge competition on October 8, 2022, during the Bluebonnet Horse Expo at the Williamson County Expo Center.
