About Ocho
He was surrendered to the Houston Humane Society and then transferred to Bluebonnet. He was a stallion when he arrived but was quickly gelded.
Evaluation and Training
Ocho didn’t have much training, beyond being leadable, when he came to Bluebonnet. His foster home has been working with him, using John Lyons training methods, and he’s now leading better, can be caught in pasture, and is learning to enjoy attention and handling. His foster home says he has an amazing personality and would do best with an adopter who will continue working with him. She thinks with more training he could be a nice in hand show horse or do in hand obstacle courses.
