About Theodore
Theodore was donated to Bluebonnet when his owner could no longer care for him. His foster reports that he has very good manners, is very sweet and stands for anything.

Evaluation and Training
Theodore has spent the summer with a foster home with a young child who is preparing him for the Training Challenge. He’s leading, loading, and standing tied for his young handler. He’s learned to navigate trail obstacles and lung, and they say he is a sweet guy who loves attention!
He’s not broke to ride, and he’s such a small guy that we don’t recommend riding. He’ll make someone an adorable pet, a companion to a lonely horse, or a fun in hand obstacle horse. He could also be trained to pull a mini cart – there’s so many possibilities with this sweet guy!
Theodore is competing in the In-Hand Division of the Bluebonnet Rescue Horse Training Challenge with Abigail McClure. Theodore will be available for adoption at the Training Challenge competition on October 8, 2022, during the Bluebonnet Horse Expo at the Williamson County Expo Center.
Theodore completed the training challenge and was adopted that very day!
