BEHS 1286 – Blazen Beauty

Blazen Beauty spent four months with trainer Megan Bowen in the summer-fall of 2022. Megan taught her to be caught, lead well, load, stand tied, and stand for baths and the farrier. She started her under saddle and rode her inside a round pen, inside an arena, on trails, and over obstacles. Blazen Beauty and Megan placed 5th in a very competitive Obstacle Course Class at the 2022 Training Challenge.

She then went to a foster home who worked with her on the ground and continue her under saddle work. That foster home said that Blazen Beauty is slow to warm up to new people, but once she does she’s very friendly and affectionate. Once she settled in with her foster home, she would be the first to nicker whenever she saw her foster family.

Blazen Beauty spent four months with a youth rider to prepare for the 2023 Challenge. Her Challenge partner had to withdraw due to a schedule conflict, and she did not ride Blazen Beauty often, but Blazen did well with her when they did ride. She’s now fostered by at a lesson barn and has gotten used to the commotion that goes on with a barn. Everyone who meets her loves her.

She hasn’t been ridden by younger kids, but she has been around on them on the ground. She could do well with an experienced child and has the personality to be a kids’ horse with more training.

She’s a gorgeous mover who could do well with trails, endurance, hunter or western pleasure, or lower level dressage – whatever her adopter wants to train her to do.
