About Winkie
Winkie was donated by her owner when he could no longer care for her. She was blind in one eye and suffered from arthritis, so she hung out in her foster homes and kept other horses company. She crossed the Rainbow Bridge in 2012 from complications due to old age.
Evaluation and Training
Winkie was ridden once in her foster home, but it made her very sore. The next time someone attempted to ride her, she flipped over and broke the saddle. Since riding makes her very uncomfortable, she's available as a non-riding, pet only.
