About Shining Diamond
Shining Diamond was removed from negligent owners by law enforcement and then transferred to Bluebonnet.
Evaluation and Training
Shining Diamond is a very sweet mare. She had a pelvic fracture that is healed and her vet has cleared her for light riding, and as she regains fitness and strength, she may be able to do more. She will not ever be available for play days, jumping, endurance, or hard trails.
Her foster home has lunged her and worked her through obstacles on the ground, and she says Shining Diamond does everything she asks of her. She may be broke to ride, but she hasn’t been evaluated under saddle yet.
She is good for grooming and baths, stands for farrier, good with vet, shots and wormers.
