About Tally

Tally was removed from negligent owners and placed with Bluebonnet by the courts. When Tally came to Bluebonnet, she was much more emaciated than her herd mates. With some dental work, groceries and TLC, she's bounced back nicely.

Tally is a bit reserved with new people, but she tries really hard to trust and be respectful. Her foster is working on building trust and confidence in her.

Tally is competing in the In-Hand 13 and Up Division of the Bluebonnet Rescue Horse Training Challenge with Andre Moxley. Tally will be available for adoption at the Training Challenge competition on October 5, 2024, during the Bluebonnet Horse Expo at the Williamson County Expo Center. You can follow their progress on their Facebook page CLICK HERE

The Expo and Training Challenge will be held on October 5, 2024, at the Williamson County Expo Center in Taylor, Texas. For more information about the Expo CLICK HERE, or for information about adopting a challenge horse CLICK HERE.

Evaluation and Training

Tally stands for the farrier and grooming like a champ. She's still not a fan of fly spray or being hosed off but now that the weather is getting warmer, these are some of the things that we will be working on.

Tally can be caught. She halters and leads well. She loads in a trailer and wants to please. She is learning to ground drive and learning to lunge.
