About Jersey Bay
Jersey Bay was removed from negligent owners and placed with Bluebonnet by the courts.
Her foster reports that she is a very easy-going girl. She is the first one to greet you when you come out to the pasture, and she will follow you around like a puppy dog. Jersey stands well for the farrier, grooming, fly spray and she loves water. Don't let her height fool you because she is a stout girl!
Evaluation and Training
We believe Jersey Bay has had some time under the saddle, but it's been while, for this reason she will need some refreshing and a confident rider.
Jersey stands well for the farrier, grooming, fly spray and she loves water. Don't let her height fool you because she is a stout girl! Jersey has been ridden at a walk, trot, and canter in the round pen. She prefers a bitless bridle. She has also been ridden in an arena and open field. She loves treats, and people, she is currently being fostered at a riding facility and get a lot of attention from the kids. Her trainers rides her in a western saddle or Bareback. Jersey can hang out in the pastures with mares and gelding but is not a fan of being in a stall. Jersey can hang out for a week and then the next day go for a ride. Her trainer thinks she can be ridden by a Novice rider.
