About Milky Way

Milky Way is competing in the In-Hand 13 and up Division of the Bluebonnet Rescue Horse Training Challenge with Laura Clarkson. Milky Way will be available for adoption at the Training Challenge competition on October 5, 2024, during the Bluebonnet Horse Expo at the Williamson County Expo Center. Evaluation and Training
Milkyway is smart, she is eager, and she is pretty! She can be caught and haltered. She will stand for grooming, bathing, and fly spray. She will load in the trailer. She has been lunged on a line at a walk, and trot. She will be introduced to new things soon.
Milky Way's trainer has been putting such a nice foundation on Milky Way. They're working on the ground, over in hand trail obstacles, and on Liberty working. Laura is hauling Milky Way to new arenas to give her more experience with the world, too. This filly is smart and is going to make someone an excellent horse. She could do almost anything with training - trails, open shows, ranch work, and more. Because she's a smart youngster, she'll be looking for a home with someone experienced starting horses under saddle or an intermediate or above rider who will send her to a trainer.
