About Cream Puff
Cream Puff was removed from negligent owners and placed with Bluebonnet by the courts.
Cream Puff is a very sweet young horse who is currently being handled by a pre-teen and fostered with inexperienced horse people. She’s doing well.
Cream Puff is competing in the In-Hand 13 and Up Division of the Bluebonnet Rescue Horse Training Challenge with Emily Steenland. Cream Puff will be available for adoption at the Training Challenge competition on October 5, 2024, during the Bluebonnet Horse Expo at the Williamson County Expo Center. Evaluation and Training
Cream Puff is good to catch in a small pen or paddock, but she can be hard to catch in a larger area. She is learning. She is also learning to stand tied and load in a trailer, and she’s good for the farrier.
Cream Puff’s handler is a preteen who has been teaching her to lunge, carry a saddle, and wear a blanket. She’s a sweet horse who loves to learn and has potential to do almost anything.
She’s a youngster who will benefit from good groundwork before being started under saddle in another two years.
Cream Puff is such a sweet and smart girl. She is a great listener and knows a lot. So far, she can pick up all four feet, stand tied, can be brushed no problem, lunged free or with a rope, saddled and lunged under saddle and she can be caught when in a big field. Cream Puff is great for the farrier and vets. Right now, we are working on groundwork and manners. She is doing such an amazing job with everything and is a very fast learner. She is a horse that needs a job and is willing to give you her all.
