Evaluation and Training
Aspen Honey just arrived with her training challenge partner. She is easy to catch and halter broke. She will lead for a short time and then try to do her own thing. She loves attention and getting groomed.
Aspen Honey's training challenge partner says that she is a sweet girl with a great mind. She loves attention and is taking everything Maharia does with her in stride! She stands for grooming, fly spray, hoof trimming, and baths. She's learning to navigate trail obstacles in hand, too. Since she came from a neglect case, we want to find her a home where she'll not get started under saddle until late in her 3-year-old year or even into her 4-year-old year. Before then, her adopter will have plenty of time to work with her in hand and develop a great relationship.
