About Laramie
Laramie is a sweet, inquisitive young lady with a lot of interest in understanding what you are asking her to do. She’s the first one in from the pasture, neighs to greet you at feeding time and is always happy to receive a hearty pat or rub.
Laramie received excellent exposure to groundwork and entry-level riding skills before her trainer decided to withdraw from the Challenge. While with her trainer, Laramie quickly learned new basic skills – including lunging, liberty, obstacles, trailering, baths and light riding.

- Ridden in a western saddle and hackamore at walk and trot, in round pen, arena, and trails
- Introduced to obstacles and basic trail riding
- Lunges at walk, trot, and canter in round pen and on lunge line
- Prefers not to have her ears messed with (foster is working on this)
- Needs a trainer to continue her education
Background & Care:
- Evaluated by two veterinarians for poor hind-end conformation, including weak pasterns; she is not suited for performance activities (no jumping, endurance, playdays, roping, etc.)
- Treated for EPM in summer 2025
