About Kandi
Kandi is a cute, 8 year old, grade (likely QH) mare. She and two other pasture-mates were surrendered to law enforcement agents when they were investigating a neglect/abuse report. They were all very thin, but they recovered quickly. Kandi was adopted but returned earlier this year. She then went to training and was a star at training. She didn't get to spend too much time with her foster home before being adopted. Congrats to Sarah and Kandi!

Evaluation and Training
Kandi is green-broke to ride. Her adopter rode her on several trail rides from May 2010-December 2011. She's been ridden primarily at a walk and trot, and she'll need someone to work with her cantering or loping under saddle. She stands well for the farrier, bathing, grooming, however does not load well and will need a lot of work to overcome the loading issues. She is very easy to catch and will usually meet you at the gate. She spent a couple of weeks with a trainer in August 2012 who rode her both in an arena and on trails. She's great on trails, but she'll need more saddle time before learning to collect and work well in an arena. She can be pushy on the ground, so she'll need a confident handler.
