Kachina knows how to lead, load, halter and tie. She was stand-offish when she arrived, but she's now letting her "foster mom" approach her in the pasture. She stands for fly spraying, although she's nervous and she stands for the farrier. She's been ridden in a round pen at her foster home at a walk and trot. She is quiet under saddle, but she does not seem to know a lot. She needs a confident rider who can continue her training. Her foster mom says that while she bucks and rears when playing in the pasture, she's never done either when she works with her. She says Kachina is sweet and lets people hug her neck and pet her anywhere. She feels Kachina will make a wonderful horse for a lucky adopter.
