BEHS 198 – Skye

Skye came to BEHS from a neglect case. She was underweight but pregnant. She gave birth to a healthy foal but promptly rejected the baby, leaving her to be raised as an orphan. Skye then recovered and her foster family discovered she was broke to ride. She was adopted by a family who plans to use her for trail and pleasure riding. Skye's adopters had her nearly six years before they lost her to uterine cancer. Our sympathy goes to her family.
