About Scooter
A mare and foal were found estray in Lee county. Lee County Sheriff department awarded them to BEHS after the appropriate time limit for owner to claim expired and we named them Peyton and Scooter. Scooter was loved by everyone who fostered him and was adopted in 2008. He was returned in 2012 through no fault of his own. He attended the 2012 Bluebonnet Horse Expo where he met his new family. He's gone home to join another BEHS horse, JB Cutty.
Evaluation and Training
Scooter's previous adopter worked with him on the ground. She had him carrying a saddle and bridle in the round pen and had sat on his back. He needs someone to finish his training, but he could be a pretty trail or pleasure horse.
