Nike arrived at BEHS with a group of horses whose owners surrendered them after being reported for negligent care. Nike did not appear to have been handled before coming to BEHS, and it took her some time to come around. Fortunately she did - because she was pregnant when she arrived and gave us a surprise foal. Her foster family loved both her and the foal and decided to adopt them both!
