About Carlyle
Carlyle was running loose for a considerable period of time in Bastrop county until he was picked up by Animal Control and donated to BEHS. He was adopted in 2010 and returned in 2014 when his adopter was downsizing.
Evaluation and Training
Carlyle had not been handled much prior to coming to BEHS, and he’s not very trusting of humans still. He can be caught in a pen and will stand for a farrier and veterinarian if handled quietly. He doesn’t seem to enjoy being pet. He does get along well with other horses and would likely be a good companion for a lonely horse or another donkey.
