About Jazz
Jazz was part of a large neglect case. She was removed in a joint effort between BEHS and three other agencies. She was placed with BEHS by the courts. It appears that Jazz had some handling and training before coming to BEHS. She was adopted and returned in April of 2022, when her owners could no longer care for their beloved horse.
This darling older lady is the gentlest horse you'll ever meet! She is sweet and has the dearest nicker to greet a person. Although retired, Jazz is a fancy mover and doesn't know her age. She is submissive in a herd and would make a great companion horse. Due to Jazz’s age, she’s available for adoption as a pet/companion only. She gets along great with others and is going to make someone a gorgeous, sweet, loving pet!
Evaluation and Training
Jazz has great manners to complement her elegant bearing. She's a dream to trailer and is easy to catch, lead and tie. This mare stands nicely for the farrier as well.
