About Love
Love was discovered abandoned. When staff at a vet clinic arrived one morning, they found her and two other mares left in a paddock. All three were emaciated and although the police department tried to track down their owner and press animal neglect charges, they did not discover the owner. Love attended the 2011 Bluebonnet Horse Expo and met her adopter. She returned Love in 2016 (through no fault of Love’s), but she was immediately placed with a new adopter. Love spent nearly two years with adopter family and passed away from apparent natural causes. Our sympathies to all who knew and loved Love!
Evaluation and Training
Love is a sweet mare who deserves her name. She stands well for saddling and bridling and has had children led around on her back. She doesn't appear to be broke to ride, though, so she'll need a trainer who can work with her. She has potential be a great pleasure or trail horse for a lucky adopter.
