About Summer Storm
Summer Storm was adopted and spent over ten years with her adopters, living on pasture as a beloved pet and companion to other horses. She was returned in 2022 due to her adopter’s health.

Evaluation and Training
Summer Storm’s 2022 Challenge partner is a teenager who has been riding Summer Storm at a walk, trot, and canter in an arena, in open fields, and our on the trails. He’s taught her to navigate trail obstacles and hauled her to shows. Her and his parents (who are trainers) believe she could be good for children who have some horse experience or for an adult rider. She’s not for an absolute beginner unless they’re consistently working for a trainer. She is going to make someone an amazing riding partner and friend.
Summer Storm is competing in the Non-Pro Under Saddle Division of the Bluebonnet Rescue Horse Training Challenge with Micah Bowen. Summer Storm will be available for adoption at the Training Challenge competition on October 8, 2022, during the Bluebonnet Horse Expo at the Williamson County Expo Center.
Summer Storm completed the training challenge and was adopted that very day!
