About Nashobe
Nashobe was found underweight and uncared for. A concerned citizen fed her and then reported her condition to BEHS. Her owner signed her over to BEHS. She was adopted in 2011 and returned later that year. Nashobe waited over ten years in foster homes before finding her adopter! She’s joining a lonely horse in a herd and will have a family who loves and adores her!
Evaluation and Training
Nashobe yields nicely on the ground, and respects personal space. She will stand for bathing, farrier work, grooming and saddling. However, she begins bucking when a rider puts a foot in the stirrup. Her foster home has had a chiropractor work on her. After several sessions, she seemed more comfortable and happier. She's available as a pet/companion or to someone who is willing to work with her and see what she knows.
