About Esquire
Esquire came to BEHS in 2010 as part of a neglect case. He was rehabilitated and adopted by his foster home the same year. He was returned in 2014 when his adopter had to downsize. He was adopted quickly by a new family. He died of unknown causes and left behind a devastated family.
Evaluation and Training
Esquire spent much of the past several years hanging out in pasture with other horses. His current foster home says he’s laid back and easy to handle on the ground, but he tends to be dominant with other horses. He stands well for saddling and mounting, but he doesn’t know much under saddle. He’ll need work but could be a gorgeous trail or pleasure horse for a lucky adopter.
