About Mister
Mister was seized by law enforcement and awarded to BEHS. He was adopted at the 2011 Bluebonnet Horse Expo but was returned the following year because he wasn't a good match for his adopter. Fortunately Mister started off 2013 right - he was adopted the first day of 2013! Congrats to Mister and his new family.
Evaluation and Training
Mister spent a few weeks with a trainer for an evaluation after being returned in May 2012. The trainer said he's broke to ride, but he's a very reactive horse. If the rider puts his/her legs on Mister's side, he's going to move out quickly (often at a canter) and if the rider doesn't take his/her legs off, Mister's going to keep on going faster. He's a strong horse, too, so he can be intimidating for a novice rider. He'll make a confident intermediate or more advanced rider a great horse.
