About JR
JR was seized by law enforcement and awarded to BEHS. JR's foster home worked with him and helped him overcome some under saddle issues. She and riders at her barn began showing him in ACTHA rides and American Horsemen Challenge Association races. He was doing so well that they decided to adopt him!
Evaluation and Training
JR is broke to ride, and his foster home has worked with him quite a bit. He's been ridden on trails, over obstacles, through water, etc. He's started working cattle, and he's begun competing in ACTHA trail rides.
JR competed in an American Horsemen Challenge Association race in April 2012 (which are like Extreme Cowboy races) and include obstacles and placed in 3rd in the pro division.
