About Dixie Sky
Dixie Sky was seized by law enforcement and awarded to BEHS. She was emaciated and injured when she arrived, but she healed well and became a beautiful horse. She attended the 2011 Bluebonnet Horse Expo where we discovered that she was green broke to ride, and her adopters met her and fell in love. They adopted her not quite a month later.
Evaluation and Training
She's a very sweet mare who appears to have little training. She has been ridden at a walk and trot in a snaffle bit and in a rope halter but she'll need more training. She does have potential to do almost anything - showing, ranch/cow work, trail riding, etc.
