About Galeno
Corazon, Galeno's dam was removed from negligent owners by animal control and then placed with BEHS. Corazon and Galeno may be an Andalusian cross. He grew up in a foster home and attended the 2012 Bluebonnet Horse Expo. He was adopted but returned a few months later because he was too much horse for his adopter. He moved to a new foster home when he was returned, and although that home had fostered many horses for BEHS, Galeno was the one they couldn't let go!
Evaluation and Training
Galeno is easy to catch, lead, and load. He stands tied, stands for bathing, and is learning to stand for the farrier. He’s learning to longe, and he’s been taught to stand up for showmanship and perform showmanship patterns. He’s even gone to a horse show with his foster home and been shown in halter and showmanship. He’s a gorgeous mover and has potential as a lower-level dressage horse for the right adopter.
