About Runnin Thunder
Runnin Thunder was placed with BEHS by Brazos County after being removed from a negligent owner. He was started under saddle in a colt starting demo at the 2012 Bluebonnet Rescue Horse Training Challenge and did well. He was adopted in 2013 and then returned in 2018 when his adopters decided to get out of horses. He met a new adopter not long after being returned and was quickly adopted!
Evaluation and Training
Runnin' Thunder was a shy horse who hadn't had much handling when he arrived. His foster homes gave him halter training, and he was started under saddle during a colt starting at the 2012 Bluebonnet Horse Expo. He was adopted in 2013 and while with his adopter a trainer rode him several times and he did fine. He's very green, though, and will need an adopter who can continue his training.
