About Nakota
NNakota and his pasture-mate were removed from a negligent owner by the courts and awarded to BEHS. Nakota had a rough life and has an enlarged knee and is borderline for Cushings. He needed a place to live out his life in luxury, being spoiled and cared for. He found that in the summer of 2013 when BEHS placed him in a sanctuary that specializes in older horses.
Evaluation and Training
Nakota is an older horse who recovered from neglect. He's sound enough to do some very light riding, but he hasn't been tested under saddle in his foster home. He would prefer to be someone's pet and companion - he deserves a life of love, leisure and good food!
