About Dongee
Dongee's dam, Sweet Melody, was found estray by the sheriff's department. When her owners could not be located, the county turned her over to BEHS. Dongee was born in a foster home. Dongee found his forever home in December 2012.
Dongee was returned in June of 2023 when his owner could no longer care for him.
Evaluation and Training
Dongee's foster says that he is a very sweet boy and likes to be supportive for is "foster brother" when he has to do scary things. He is an easy keeper, and he is the farrier's favorite donkey. He is easy to catch and halter but needs some motivation when leading. He loves attention, pets and grooming. He will make someone an excellent companion or pet.
