Toffy is easy to handle and very sweet. She's easy to catch in a pasture, leads well, loads well, and stands tied or in cross-ties.

She is a trained mare who requires at least an intermediate rider (no beginners please). She appreciates a quiet hand and an effective leg. She will test her rider by going to a gate in an arena or to the barn. After a few corrections she will continue on. She has never offered to buck, rear or bolt. She will jog, trot, lope, canter, back up and has a good stop with a proper seat and quiet hands. She does crib but will not with her collar on.

Toffy's only bad habit is that she doesn't always stand still for mounting. Her foster mom has worked with her on this and she's doing a lot better. She has been trail ridden in the past. While she walks fast and looks side to side, she does not spook or react to much.
