Evaluation and Training

When Miss Buttons (Missy) arrived in the rescue, she was shy and standoffish. With daily handling, she came around and learned to enjoy attention.

Miss Buttons is extremely easy going and very affectionate. She prefers softer riders who are patient, the more harsh you are with her the more concerned she is. And she's a beautiful mover. She was started under saddle for the 2013 Bluebonnet Rescue Horse Training Challenge. She just spent 3 months (July-October 2017) with trainer Kayt Ladue-Laymon being ridden. She has done well in the round pen, arena, and riding out in fields. Kayt also feels Miss Buttons could be great at low level dressage.
