About Coy

Coy was surrendered to BEHS when her owner surrendered was investigated for neglect. She was a skinny, scrawny little girl, and she knew nothing really about people. She was her foster home's first foster horse - and Susan did a great job with Coy! She competed in the 2013 Bluebonnet Rescue Horse Training Challenge with Amy L and did a great job. She was adopted by someone who saw her at the 2013 Bluebonnet Horse Expo!

Evaluation and Training

Coy hadn't been handled much before coming to BEHS, but she's come a long ways and has learned to trust humans. Her foster home says she's easy to catch and halter. She will stand tied, and she's learned to carry a saddle and bridle. She's had a rider on her back twice, and she's done well both times.

Coy is competing with Amy Limke in the foster horse in hand division of the 2013 Bluebonnet Rescue Horse Training Challenge. She will be available for adoption at the Challenge on October 19th, 2013 at the Bluebonnet Horse Expo in Austin, Texas.
