About Daytona
Daytona was seized by law enforcement and placed with BEHS by the courts. She moved into a foster home who rehabilitated her and helped her gain weight and learn to trust. After fostering her for a couple of years, they decided to adopt her to give her a safe place to live out her life.
Evaluation and Training
Daytona was very wary of humans when she arrived, but she overcame that when her foster home had to treat her for an eye injury. Her foster 'mom' reports that she's a submissive horse, so she would do best with a horse who isn't overly dominant. She's not been ridden in her foster home and is looking for a home where she can be a pet/companion.
