About Lila
Lila was removed from negligent owners and then placed with BEHS. Lila competed in the 2013 Bluebonnet Rescue Horse Training Challenge. She won the professional division and was Grand Champion! Her trainer for the event adopted her in October 2013. He returned her in 2018 through no fault of hers. It didn't take long before she found a new adopter - we look forward to hearing about what Lila and her new person do together!
Evaluation and Training
Lila is a sweet young horse. She's easy to catch - walking up to people out in the pasture. She's quiet and calm, and she loves attention and people. She was started under saddle for the 2013 Bluebonnet Rescue Horse Training Challenge. She won the professional division of the Challenge and was Grand Champion of the 2013 Bluebonnet Rescue Horse Training Chalenge as well.Although she's not been ridden much for the past several months, she has been ridden at a walk, trot, and canter under saddle. She's been trail ridden and ridden over man-made obstacles in an arena. She was shown in halter and under saddle in late 2013 and did well, coming home with her first horse show ribbons! She has also been used as a lesson horse. Whoever adopts her will get an excellent horse!
