About Buckles
Buckles and another horse were placed with BEHS by law enforcement after being removed from negligent owners. Her foster home fell in love with her and adopted her!
Evaluation and Training
Buckles is a little shy, but if you take the time to get to know her she seems to enjoy attention and likes to please people. She leads, loads, and stands for grooming. She stands tied, and she's learning to longe. In February 2013 she went to a clinic with Mark Lyon. He worked with her and discovered that while she wasn't broke to ride, she learns quickly. He worked with her and gave her her first ride. She did well and has great potential to be a working horse, trail horse, or pleasure show horse.
