About Cali Bear
Cali Bear was removed from a negligent owner by the sheriff’s department and placed with BEHS. Cali Bear turned out to be a well broke horse, but she had an old injury that limited her ridability. After fostering her for over a year, her foster family decided to adopt her. She joins Bluebonnet horses Chappy and Cordova in her new home!
Evaluation and Training
Cali Bear leads, loads, stands for grooming and fly spraying. She knows how to longe and stands well for farrier work, fly spraying, and grooming. She has been handled by both adults and children and is an easy, sweet horse to handle. Due to an intermittent lameness problem (see above), she is available as a companion/pet only at this time (no riding).
