About Louie
Louie was surrendered to BEHS when his owner couldn't properly care for him. He was covered in scars and in very bad shape. He gained weight slowly, but at his age it was evident he needed a home where he could hang out. He was placed at a sanctuary that caters to older horses. He'll get lots of love, huge pastures to lounge in, and other older horses to hang out with. The sanctuary lost him in the summer of 2015 from complications from old age.
